The Broadmoor – Colorado Springs, Colorado

Born in 1891 as a gambling casino and transformed into a "grand resort" in 1918, the five star, five diamond Broadmoor continues to shine brightly as one of the world's premier resorts.

Located in Colorado Springs at the foot of the Rockies, The Broadmoor provides an environment of unparalleled beauty and luxury surrounded by the mountains and centered by Cheyenne Lake. One of the few resorts in the country to have earned the Mobil Five Star and the AAA Five Diamond ratings every year since the awards were established, The Broadmoor is proud to provide guests with the finest in accommodations and services.

The Broadmoor Golf Courses are designed to delight the eye and challenge even the most seasoned player. The East Course was designed by Donald Ross in 1917. When it was completed in 1918, it was the highest 18-hole golf course in the United States. Numerous tournaments have been held on this course over the years, most recently the 1995 U.S. Women's Open Championship.

The resort's West eighteen-hole course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., was completed in 1964. The course is considered even more challenging than the first due to its steeply angled greens.

Ed Seay of the Arnold Palmer group designed the third, Mountain Course, completed in 1976. The course, with its separate clubhouse, offers players a series of dramatic views and superb golfing.

Given Colorado Springs' mild climate, golf can be played all year round with occasional interruptions for snow during the winter. Group tournaments can be arranged upon request.
