The
Hilton El Conquistador's 45 holes of golf
are simply spectacular, with multiple, elevated tees;
fairways cut through rugged desert terrain and across
deep ravines; clustered sand traps and water hazards;
towering cactus; and double-tiered greens. El Conquistador
Country Club, home of two 18-hole courses, is
located just ten minutes from the resort. The Conquistador
Course completed a million dollar Tee to Green renovation
in November 1999 and the Sunrise Course will be renovated
during the summer of 2006. For a quick nine, golfers
can walk out the front door of the resort and step
onto a tee at the El Conquistador's Pusch Ridge Course
which surrounds the resort and creates its own golfing
memories. Practice facilities include a driving range,
putting greens, chipping greens, and bunkers. The
complex also offers spacious locker rooms, two complete
pro shops, rental clubs and shoes and PGA Golf professionals
to help you truly enjoy swinging your clubs.
